The chip measures 2 x 11mm, which essentially is the size of a grain
of rice. It is a sterile transponder which contains a unique ID code that can be
read with any ISO standard scanner and is good for the life of your pet. |
 |
Your veteriarian will insert the microchip just under the skin between
your pet's shoulder blades. This procedure requires no anesthetic and is performed in seconds with virtually no pain. |
 |
You will receive a HomeAgain® collar tag preprinted with your pets
unique ID number and the toll free number to HomeAgain® Pet Recovery Service. |
 |
This is a standard ISO scanner that is used to harmlessly scan animals for
microchips. Veterinarians, animal shelters and animal control agencies use these to help
find owners of lost pets. |
