Dawn Todd, LVT — Veterinary Technician
Dawn was raised in Canastota, NY on her family's dairy farm. Living in this rural setting sparked Dawn's interest in caring for and treating animals of all kinds. After graduating from high school in 1990, she attended SUNY Delhi and graduated with a degree in Veterinary Technology in 1992. Dawn worked at three other veterinary practices before joining the Brookside team in May of 2006.
At work, Dawn enjoys performing dentistries and talking to clients about their pets. Dawn and her husband, Roger, married in 1998 and have three children Donna, Ashley and Jacob. Their family has many pets, including dogs, cats, sheep and more.
Patty Tankus — Receptionist
Originally from New Jersey, Patty moved to the Central New York area in 2004. Prior to working at Brookside, Patty worked in Manhattan for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey for ten years, and then for AT&T for five years. After adopting her daughter, Patty took a position at a veterinary clinic in New Jersey working at the front desk and assisting the doctors and technicians.
